Merry Christmas to all of you. We hope that you had a wonderful day filled with family and friends. We did for sure. The kids received all that they wanted and more. They were able to play with Great-Grandma and Grandpa Simmons from CA. We had ham and potatoes for dinner. Sticky buns and eggs for breakfast. Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here Daddy, Jaxon, and Abby are coming down for the first time Christmas morning. Yes for all of you that started at 5:15AM.

Daddy opened antlers for Christmas and that was fun too. The kids both took turn wearing it and jingling the bells.

Daddy and Jaxon opening presents

Jaxon and Mommy opening presents.

Abby picked out a lion for Jaxon so all day we were listening to "ROARRRRRRRRR".

Jaxon loved opening presents this year. It is fun to watch him grow and adventure.

Abby picked out this shirt for Jaxon too. He loves Toy Story!!!

Smiling angel Jaxon.

Jaxon got a Woody doll, better then him carrying babies around the house.

Man Santa ate the cookie and hot chocolate and fed the carrots to his reindeer. Merry Christmas to them and to all of you!

Abby received a Tangled dress and was so excited. She found Flinn and Rapunzel dolls under the tree too. Mommy took Abby to the theater for the first time and they watched Tangled in 3D and it was really neat. So much fun.

Abby opening presents.

Daddy bought Abby a new purple scarf to match her snowsuit and coat.

Abby's new jammies this year are monkeys. Always a favorite gift in our house.

Abby received a Smurf movie and Dr. Seuss movie too.

Abby asked Santa for a dollhouse, and oh she is happy. She has a family. Twins one boy and one girl, and a mommy and a daddy. So much fun.

This season is over and the Christmas decorations taken down and put away. The house is clean, and ready to begin a New Year. There is so much to be grateful for and we pray for those in need. We pray for good health and happiness in 2011. We send our love to all of you, and can't wait for the new year to begin.
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house a Jaxon and Abby were louder than a mouse. They decorated cookies and put carrots out; in hopes that Santa would fill out. Jaxon forgot what he was suppose to do, and below you will see he turned grinchy green too. Then mommy and Abby snuck away quick, and put little sponge curlers in their hair before anyone looked. Its tradition for long girls to get curlers tonight, and wake Christmas morning with curls oh so tight. So enjoy these great pictures and smiles you will have and tomorrow will come Santa and presents galore.

OUR NEW CAR

The most amazing thing happened to our little family today. Our family was nominated for a car giveaway from Lindon Collision Center. They had decided that they wanted to help a needy family get a car for Christmas. WE received a call today at 4pm saying to come and pick up our new car. We kinda thought it was a joke, and asked if they were kidding. The guy said, "No your family had been nominated several times, and we went through all the entries and picked your family." We are so grateful for the kindness of others, and this car will help our family out alot. It will enable us to get more work to support our family, allow us to visit family more, keep Jaxon's health in check, be reliable, and allow us to go to school alot easier. We pray that all of you have a very Merry Christmas as we are eternally grateful for all those that nominated us, and for the kindness of the family that runs and owns Lindon Collision Center. Abby was so excited, and mommy drove it home. It is a Dodge Intrepid 2002.

2010 Wiscombe Family Christmas Letter

I can hardly believe another year has come and gone. It has been a busy year in the Wiscombe family. Half the year was spent unemployed and the other half in and out of the hospital and doctor offices.

Jaxon turned 1 in June and has had a very eventful year. In January he got RSV and was hospitalized for 5 days. This was not a fun time for mommy or Abby, but we made it through. And then in September he had to have surgery on his mouth to remove 4 teeth and cap 4 teeth. Jaxon has had a lot of medical visits and we are hoping that the new year brings him better health. He was born with severe acid problems, lung issues, and stomach issues. In the new year he will have testing done on his stomach to see if they will want to do surgery or not. We are hoping that he won't have to go through that kind of surgery, but we will see. He loves to follow in his big sister's footsteps. He dances around the room to any kind of music, loves trucks, coloring, painting, making messes and throwing food. He has a great arm and we hope that he will find a good way to use it. He has a set of golf clubs and we had to take them away, because they became deadly weapons. Jaxon weighs 22 pounds and is 28 inches tall. He is in the 5% for weight and 3% for height.

Abby turned 4 in April, and had a Chuck E Cheese birthday party. She was so excited to have family and friends there to celebrate with her. She is becoming quite the young lady. Abby is really into girlie things and that makes her mom a bit crazy. She loves to have her hair done everyday in sponge curlers, and change her outfit about 6 times a day. If anything she is helping keep the house clean and fresh with all the laundry mom has to do. Abby loves to color and paint. It has become one of her most favorite things to do, and with a sick brother she has found a way to spend time by herself doing something she loves. Abby spent a lot of time at the pool this year, and really had a nice tan. The preschool here was over crowded, so Abby doesn't go to preschool. Mom teaches her school at home, and everyday we learn a new letter and learn new words. Every once in a while I will hear her reading Jaxon books, and it is fun to hear her growing up. Abby loves reading, baths, swimming, biking, painting, cooking, and helping with her little brother. She is going to begin a dance class in January and her brother a tumbling class. They are so excited for what the new year will bring to them.

Bradly finally found a job in July with Direct TV, and has worked a lot of long hours to finally catch up on all the bills. On his days off he loves to play with the kids, but especially loves bath time. You should hear the giggles that come out of the bathtub, but the one thing mommy doesn't like is the mess she has to clean up when they are done. You would think the bathroom were a swimming pool.

As for me, Mommy, I have spent the year running from one appointment to the next. I am grateful for the ability to stay home with my kiddos. I try my hardest to keep up on posting pictures for our friends and family, I keep my 2 blogs updated as much as possible, and will begin school in the New Year. Between laundry, cooking, cleaning, playing with the kids, and hoping for sleep this keeps me busy.

Our family looks forward to the New Year and all that can happen. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas filled with love, adventure, and family. We hope that the New Year brings you new travels, adventures, and fun times. May you all be safe, and remember the reason for the season.

With Love,

The Wiscombe's

For those of you who are familiar with Provo, one of the most beautiful places is this building The Provo Tabernacle. It was built back in the 1800's and has been remodeled several times and is used pretty much regularly. When I lived in my BYU ward we had many activities here. From Christmas programs, to Easter, to Stake Conference and just about anything. I loved this building for the grander it pro-trays. Abby calls this her Princess Castle. We have been there many times as a family and just the Tuesday before we had passed by it. On Friday December 17, 2010 in the early morning hours the building began to burn. It burned for 2-3 days, and is now being investigated to find out what the cause of the fire was. When Abby found out Friday morning that it was burning she sat and cried most of the day. "This was such a beautiful place Mommy, and it reminded me of beauty and of all the princess castles. I loved this memory with you Mommy, and I am really sad that it is gone. Will they rebuild it?" (Abby talking) I cannot tell her or you whether or not they will rebuild this beautiful building, but I can only hope if they don't that they rebuild something just as beautiful in its place, and don't turn it into a parking lot or something dumb like that.

This is the painting that was rescued at the Tabernacle. The church now has it, and has not confirmed what they will be doing with it. But is is a Christmas Miracle that it survived.

Abby is old enough this year to really love the movie Polar Express. Jaxon even loves to watch the train and especially gets excited when they get to the North Pole. As we gather this season with family and friends we hope that you are all safe, happy, and healthy. This is a great song to help you remember what Christmas is really like in the eyes of a child. Let us all become like a child, and remember what Christmas is all about.

THE POLAR EXPRESS SOUNDTRACK LYRICS

When Christmas Comes To Town - MATTHEW HALL AND MEAGAN MOORE

La, la, la, la.....

I'm wishing on a star
And trying to believe
That even though it's far
He'll find me Christmas Eve

I guess that Santa's busy
Cause he's never come around
I think of him
When Christmas Comes to Town

The best time of the year
When everyone comes home
With all this Christmas cheer
It's hard to be alone

Putting up the Christmas tree
With friends who come around
It's so much fun
When Christmas Comes to Town

Presents for the children
Wrapped in red and green
All the things I've heard about
But never really seen

No one will be sleeping on
The night of Christmas Eve
Hoping Santa's on his way

[Repeat previous two paragraphs]

When Santa's sleigh bells ring
I listen all around
The herald angels sing
I never hear a sound

When all the dreams of children
Once lost will all be found
That's all I want
When Christmas Comes to Town

That's all I want
When Christmas Comes to Town

On Friday December 17, 2010 we went to Wingers in Orem with Stacie and her family and Grandma Sue. It was super fun to be able to see them again it has been awhile now since they moved up to Highland. Here are some fun pictures of the night. Amelia was hiding from the camera along with Grandma and Stacie. We will catch them next time for sure. Thanks everyone for such a fun night.

Jaxon is such a great little guy. The other day I wouldn't let him watch a movie so he went and threw a fit. I found him a few minutes later curled up on the floor with the portable DVD player. He is the comedian of the family, and we enjoy the addition of him everyday.

Abby has totally and completely turned into a girlie girl. I hate make-up, hair, modeling, dressing up, and being all fluffy and sweet. I only hope that I will make it through the next 14 years with her. She loves to change her clothes about 6 times a day. When she changes the clothes she has to change the hair too. Come on she has the wrong mom for that kind of stuff. But here are her most recent rounds of modeling and hair styles. Where in the world has my little daughter gone, it seems as if she were now 12 or more.

Here is a video of Jaxon decorating his sugar cookies. Cutie Pie we love you.
Macey's Activities December 11, 2010
We always have so much fun at Macey's with the fun things that they do for the kids. Here the kids were able to see Santa, decorate cookies, find reindeer, and eat yummy homemade chili. It was overall another wonderful free avtivity which are the best.

We hope that you enjoy these pictures we took of our kids for Christmas this year. It is a little more challenging taking pictures now, but we try our best.
Jaxon 18 months old and Abby 4 3/4 years old.
