Jaxon is so funny he falls asleep in the strangest places and positions. He doesn't sleep well at night, but oh well. We are trying to fix that, but we are grateful for when he actually sleeps.

Happy Halloween!!! Here is our little Jaxon as a White Tiger. Bought this costume on sale for $5 at buycostumes.com. What a great deal this year on costumes. Our little angel will hopefully remember this trick-or-treat time more than last year.

Here are the pictures of Abby's Halloween costume for this year. She is our little Snow Princess. She loves Princesses still, but didn't want to be any of the more popular ones, so we found this one on sale at buycostumes.com and paid $10 for it. What a great deal. Enjoy she really is growing up fast.

Jaxon is exactly 2 1/2 feet tall. He now weighs 19 pounds. He is still so little and cute. He has 4 more teeth coming in right now, and has decided that he won't sleep past 5AM. Man he is so like mommy. Jaxon is really getting quite vocal, and if he doesn't like something he lets you know. He has 3 shows that he loves to watch. Sesame Street, Curious George and the Cat in the Hat. It is so good to have quality television that I don't have to worry about inappropriate things being mentioned or language. He loves to color. Jaxon is completely in love with the mop and the broom. Every time we go to the kitchen he has to have it. He sweeps the whole kitchen probably 30 times a day. What a great little helper. He loves pumpkins too. He wants to break them, poke holes in them, destroy them, and make a mess. This will be a fun year for trying to keep him out of everything. Not sure how I will keep him from the Christmas tree, but I refuse to not put one up just because he is destructo baby. Abby is so amazing. She is into doll houses and babies right now. She carries them around the house and puts them to bed for naps every day. She loves to color, paint, and is totally into decorating. We have moved her room around so many times that I just don't have any other way to do it. She has to cook something every day in the kitchen by herself. She is helping me write the Christmas card, and can't wait for the snow to fall. We can see the snow on the mountains, and she can't wait to teach Jaxon to sled. She is so glad he isn't a baby anymore. More fun activities to come.
We have had a great weekend. The snow and cold weather is definitely on the way here in Utah. It has been so warm, and we have been a little spoiled. We went to Macey's on Friday to the BYU tailgating party, and Daddy won 2 tickets to the game, a cooler, 2 Gatorade towels, 3 free pumpkins, and we had $.10 hot dogs. Abby played in the bounce houses, and had so much fun. Our house is completely ready for Halloween. Abby wakes up every morning and comes in my room to the calendar to count how many days are left till the big day. She will be a SNOW Princess this year, and Jaxon will be a White Tiger. In the kids room they have spiders, bats, ghosts, and pumpkins hanging from the ceiling. BYU beat Wyoming so it was a good game. Saturday at Macey's we went witch hunting to get a prize from her. We found ghost balloons to get candy, and are going to make our Halloween yummies on Sunday. Stay tuned the pictures will be posted soon. I can't wait till Monday the first, because that is when I pull out all the Christmas things and our house turns into a true winter wonderland. Lots of love to all of you.

We have gone private finally. We have found that there are people out in the world who would do nothing less than try and ruin a reputation, or belittle someone just because they may not have the nicest things. I will be turning this into a journal of sorts for the kids too. There is so much to do to document the lives of growing children, so I am going to try and make the blog more of a journal so that I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. So here goes. Jaxon is finally eating. He now weighs 18 pounds. Although I have had to turn to feeding him crap(sugar, donuts, etc), and whatever he will put in his mouth. He runs around and will only talk when Daddy is not home. He calls his sister BBBy, and it is so cute. She always comes running when he calls. He loves to play trucks and bang things together. I am definitely not use to that. Abby was always quiet, and played quietly by herself. He loves to take his clothes out of all his drawers, and make a huge mess of things. Jaxon has a very strong arm, and the funny or not so funny part is that he comes right up to you and throws it so hard. We had to take the golf clubs away from him, because they turned into weapons not just toys. Abby is writing letters like crazy, and sounding everything out. She loves to paint, and has decided when coloring she must stay in the lines. Abby is so excited for Halloween, and is trying to explain to Jaxon that things might look scary, but they are fake. She tells him all about the candy he will get, if he says Trick-or-Treat. He looks at her and shakes his head. Abby will be a beautiful Snow Princess this year, and Jaxon a Tiger. Can't wait to post the pictures for all of you to see. This is my favorite age. We are getting ready for Daddy's big 30 birthday next Tuesday the 18th. Our love to all of you, and hope and pray that you are all safe and sound.

Jaxon's mouth is doing much better although we went to the doctor's appointment and he has lost a bit of wait, and they say I have to fatten him up. He is suppose to be somewhere between 22-25 pounds, and he is just over 16. That means he lost 4 pounds after surgery. For a young baby that isn't great, so I am trying to do what I can to fix it. He doesn't like Ensure or those kind of drinks. Milk kills him, because all the acid and stuff doesn't mix well with his stomach. So I am trying all I can to get him to gain weight. I don't want to just feed him junk, because then he may gain too much weight and never want to eat good food again. Its trying to get this little boy to eat, but they want him to gain back the 4 pounds and then some within the next month. I am sorry you can only force a baby to eat and drink so much. I give him whole milk, and full fat yogurt and ice cream, and whatever. The doctor thinks that may be why he didn't lose more weight. So he at least is maintaining his weight now. If you have any suggestions send them my way. I was given a suggestion of giving him Gatorade so I am going to try that. I tried a power-bar with him this week and he did fine. It is hard though to tell Abby she can't have all that fat so she stays in a good weight, and keep it away from Daddy so he doesn't gain a bunch of weight. Stuff like that isn't an interest to me, so I don't have to worry. Abby is writing her name and Jaxon's name everywhere. She knows all her shapes, and colors. And even makes up some interesting shapes and colors. She is starting to read Dr. Seuss books by herself, and she is so happy. She wants to read Little House on the Prairie books, and Amelia Bedeila books. I read those when I was little and Abby and I call Amelia Glass her cousin (Stacie's 2nd daughter) Amelia Bedelia. Abby's favorite movie right now is the Tinkerbell: The Great Fairy Rescue. She has watched it everyday, and dances around the house all day saying, "Mom can we find a fairy too, I believe I can." Oh to be a child again. She loves to help in the kitchen and yesterday made biscuits all by herself. She can read and understand simple recipes and she gets all the ingredients out and puts them on the table. Then she measures it all out and mixes. Someday she tells me she might be the Next Iron Chef. Funny, because Dad and Mom watch that show. She loves to ride on her scooter outside, and can't wait for the snow. We went shopping last week, and bought her winter boots that are pink and brown. Since then, she has walked around all day in the house with them on. Jaxon is turning out to be a funny guy. He is now 15 months old. At his appointment he is 7% height and 5% weight. He loves to play with his car garage, that Grandma Sue gave him for his birthday. He loves to golf, although most of the time he enjoys hitting us all with the clubs instead of the balls. He is starting to color, and says very few words. He is definitely a moody boy. Every thing has to be just right, or he gets so mad. Boxes are his favorite thing to build with even though we have blocks etc. Then of course he has to knock them all over. This week the blog will be going private, so we hope that we have all of your email addresses so we don't miss anyone. We just think that the whole world doesn't need to know our business. Have a great week. We are getting ready this week to take our family Christmas pictures and hope that everyone will smile. Mommy has been writing the Christmas letter, and will soon be done. If we missed you somehow, send me an email at pamelawiscombe@yahoo.com and I will get you an invite. THanks!!!!! :)
