Yesterday was the funeral for Uncle Mac. It was great to see so many family members there to support Aunt Pam and her family. We are saddened for their loss, but know we will be united again in Heaven. We hope that they can find a comfort that will help them as time passes by. It reminded me a lot of my Dad's funeral 5 years ago, and how grateful our family was that we had so many friends and family around us during that time. Here are some pictures and videos I took during and after the funeral. It was a beautiful sunny day in Salem Utah, with a slight breeze blowing. A beautiful place to lay a loved one to rest.

Here my mom Sue Ann is talking with her brothers Carmen and Pual, and his wife Gay.

Abby has always loved Bubbles, and now she is passing it on to her brother. We bought a bubble machine for $1.00 and it blows a ton of bubbles. The kids were amazed and how many bubbles can come out of one machine.

Here is our Abby. She has been chasing bubbles for years. She knows about the TV show Storm Chasers, so she said her job is to be a Bubble Chaser.

It's BUBBLE TIME
Abby is growing up so fast. She really likes to read. Every week we go to the library and get new books. These are 3 of her favorites this week. She picked out a movie this week too, and it was SPLASH!! Way to take mommy way back in time.

Macey's Summer Carnival Saturday July 31, 2010

Macey's is really good at being a store for children. They have so many great free events and wonderful food deals and live music. This time they offered Steak Dinners for $3 each, free carnival games for kids, live music and lots of toys and free samples. The kids love going to Macey's on Saturday morning to see all the fun things that they have to offer.

Abby's favorite things are bounce houses.

Here is the other bounce house they had. So much fun.

Abby decided to get her face painted. Sometimes she is so picky, and will make them paint her arm instead. But this time it was her face. She chose flowers and vines.

They had a little place even for live animals. There was a baby calf, a baby goat, and a little baby pony. Jaxon had the best time trying to figure out why there are live animals in the parking lot of Macey's. He made noises at them, and was excited when they sounded back.

Here Abby is doing the Donut game. Had to keep your hands away and get the donut.
This is Jaxon's first experience with painting.

We let Jaxon play in the paint and this is the art he created. I don't really like the mess of paint with a 1 year old, but it is all part of being a kid.

It really is quite good and very colorful for a 1 year old. Abby sure had fun helping him make a mess. They painted my table and that was really fun to clean!:)
